Several AI-related businesses bought domain names this week.
Sedo’s top public sale this week was bot.ai, which sold for $1.2 million. While the price might surprise some people, they might be more surprised that it was purchased at the buy now price! They didn’t bother to negotiate! This suggests it was a buyer with very deep pockets.
AI is a recurring theme throughout this week’s list, with many companies offering services that use AI technology.

Qbits.com $16,667 – Last week, I wrote about how Bangladesh-based computer seller Qbits bought qbits.net and qbits.org and forwarded them to qbits.com. What I didn’t realize is that it had also just acquired the .com. The company previously used qbits.io. All of the domains were at the same price, so it might have purchased them as a package for $50,000 total.
StackJobs.com $10,000 – StackJobs is a job-finding tool for IT jobs.
Meintraumurlaub.de €8,999 – This domain is German for my dream vacation, and forwards to the travel site ateams.de.
ProvenStrategy.com $4,960 – Proven Strategy is an implementation partner for Odoo products. It forwards this .com domain to its .co.uk site. I think they got a good deal on this domain.
IronLoop.com €4,600 – Ironloop provides software for the Operational Technology (OT) environment at companies, as well as for compliance.
FamilyHero.de €3,500 – I’m not sure why this domain is used by a company called Wasserfeld. Wasserfeld sells spa products.
RebelSkin.de €3,499 – This domain forwards to RebelSkin.com. The company sells beauty products.
Osign.net $3,495 – I believe ONNA GmbH is a software company. It also owns the matching .com domain, and neither domain is currently in use.
Skaple.com $2,988 – Skaple is a newsletter about ecommerce and AI marketing.
SalesClone.com $2,995 – WorkClone bought this domain name. The company says it creates digital clones for the workforce, so this must be for an extension to the sales team.
Ostdeutsche.de €2,500 – This domain translates to East Germans. It forwards to ostdeutscheallgemeine.com, which is a news site for East Germany.
BotBoss.com $2,500 – BotBoss is a system for managing bots within a company.
