About 200 domain investors and domain business representatives gathered in Las Vegas last week.
Internet Commerce Association held its annual member meeting last week in Las Vegas, and it once again proved why it’s a must-attend event for domain investors.
This year’s event moved from Resorts World to Park MGM. The hotel and conference facilities were a better match for the size of ICA’s meeting, which attracted about 200 people. While it’s not as fancy as Resorts World, it was worth the tradeoff.
After an evening party on Wednesday, Thursday started with social events. Attendees could choose from pickleball, horseback riding, a Hoover Dam tour, and other opportunities to network and have fun.
The gala that night featured an awards ceremony where Elliot Silver won the Lonnie Borck Memorial Award. It was extra special because Elliot was a good friend of Lonnie, and Lonnie’s surviving wife, Ronit, came to present the award.
Richard Kirkendall of Namecheap won the Trailblazer Award.
Later in the evening, a group of Braden Pollock’s peers roasted him in the first live domain meeting roast.
Friday and Saturday were all about learning and improving as domain investors. A popular feature was the guru tables, where experts led discussions in small groups. I recall that a couple of years ago, it could be difficult to get people to attend these; this year, the tables were overflowing. I went to Josh Reason’s table, where he answered questions about his hand registration binge in 2025.
And yes, this year’s event proved that “TonyNames” is a living, breathing human. He has a fascinating back story, too.
I would encourage any domain investor who doesn’t usually go to domain conferences to attend next year’s meeting. It’s a small, welcoming group, and I always leave energized to up my domain investing game.

Thank you Andrew. It was also nice to have my personal valet along to sit next to me.
This was my first ICA event, and I came away impressed by the amazing people and insightful sessions/conversations. Can’t wait for next year!
Was great to see everyone there! I’m already looking forward to next year’s event!
