Efty Pay is now open to all, adding to the plethora of domain payment and transfer options.

Efty has opened its Efty Pay solution, which handles the payment and transfer of domains negotiated anywhere, to all domain sellers. When it launched last year, it was limited to customers with an Investor subscription.
The idea behind Efty Pay is simple: you negotiate a domain sale with someone and need an easy way to safely and securely handle the funds and transfer the domain. Efty Pay handles that for you for just 5%, which is much lower than traditional commissions at marketplaces.
Efty Pay has a lot of competition. Here’s a roundup of the domain payment competition.
Afternic Custom Checkout Link: 5% fee, $15 minimum. $99 minimum transaction. Can also do lease-to-own between $495 and $100k with a maximum 12-month term.
Atom Pay: 4.5% fee. Allows installments of up to 36 months, including down payments (for plans 12+ months).
Dynadot Pay Link: 5% fee, 2% bonus if converted to store credit. Installment option for 2-12 months. Lots of payment and payout options. This is the process.
Efty Pay: 5% fee. Sign up for a free account, complete a one-time Know Your Customer Process. Handles USD, EUR, or GBP.
Escrow.com: Fees vary based on transaction size, payment method, and whether Escrow.com takes possession of the domain for transfer. Range from about 5% for small concierge deals (before card processing) to below 1% for larger deals. See fee calculator. Offers payment plan transactions.
Sedo: 3% fee.
Trustap: Fees unclear on website. Making a push into the domain business.
The following services don’t have a “pay link” type solution, but can be used this way because of their low fees.
Sav.com: 4% fee.
Spaceship: 5% fee.
Unstoppable Domains: 3% fee. 10-day waiting period to receive proceeds. Crypto option for both payments and payouts.
Please let me know if I missed any competition at 5% or less.
This story has been updated to remove an erroneous statement that Sedo charges for confidentiality on transfer transactions.

Escrow.Domains for anything big.
DaaZ.com @ 5%
They don’t really advertise it at all, but once you’re logged into your account you see the option to do a “Daaz Secure Transaction”, which is their name for it. I’ve found them good as they support a portfolio sale (or purchase), rather than just a single domain.
Transpact.com – operating for over 15 years – beats them all.
0% percentage fee with low per transaction fixed fee.
For example, if in Euros and in the EU, just €6.98 for transactions under €15,000.
If in GBP and in the UK, just £5.98 for transactions under £10,000 (or just £24.98 for transactions below £30,000).
See full ultra-low pricing on the Transpact.com website.
They are very strong on anti-money laundering, so only bank accounts in main OECD countries allowed.
There’s a new competitor in the escrow space called Shake Defi (shakedefi.com). They use smart contracts to hold the payment in escrow. The app is on your phone, you can upload images, and sign an escrow contract with your finger. Fees are 0.1%
