Settlement resolves antitrust lawsuit and restores Entri’s integration with GoDaddy domains.
Entri and GoDaddy have announced a deal to allow people to use Entri to update DNS records for domains registered at GoDaddy (NYSE: GDDY). The multi-year agreement resolves a lawsuit between the parties.
Entri acts as a conduit between SaaS companies and domain registrars. If a customer needs to update their domain’s DNS records to work with an email provider, site builder, or other SaaS business, they can use a wizard directly on the SaaS company’s website to make these changes.
For a while, Entri worked with GoDaddy. But the parties had a falling out, and GoDaddy disabled Entri’s ability to make changes to its customers’ domains. Entri sued, citing a loss of business and antitrust claims.
The companies reached a settlement in February and requested that the lawsuit be dismissed.
Today, the companies announced their multi-year deal.
