GoDaddy plans featured auction that will include registry-owned .io domains.
GoDaddy has announced that its next featured auction event will begin on June 10, with auctions concluding on June 17 and 18.
This auction will include third-party inventory, as it did last time.
Notably, Identity Digital is auctioning 170 .io domain names that had been held back from registration.
This includes nine two-number .io domains, such as 07.io and 37.io. It also includes two and three-character domains such as zag.io and s5.io.
Last year, .io was the sixth-highest selling top level domain at Afternic.
Auctions have varying start prices but no hidden reserves.
In my initial review, the list doesn’t seem as strong as it was last timee.
Some domains that might attract attention include:
- acquittal.com ($4,999)
- notebook.co ($1,699)
- rearrange.com ($1,799)
- delivered.org ($1,162)
- fastrecovery.com ($1,499)
- broker.net ($5,499)
