A big domain company is merging two of its brands.

Domain name and hosting rollup Newfold Digital is killing the iconic Web.com brand.
The company announced today that it is sunsetting the brand and will transfer all Web.com accounts to Network Solutions, another well-known brand it owns.
It states that customers shouldn’t experience downtime or headaches during the transition. In most cases, customers will use the same username and password to log in to Network Solutions that they used with Web.com. Pricing will remain the same.
Web.com and Network Solutions have used a common backend interface for some time, so customers shouldn’t have a learning curve to use Network Solutions.
Domain investors who have used NameJet or SnapNames might have domains in a Web.com account. With the transition, I suspect it will be easier to merge accounts.

Hum, they will sell the domain later on?
