1. New domain registrar already in breach of accreditation agreement – A five-month-old domain name registrar got hit with a breach notice.
2. Namecheap scores deal to sell expiring .AI domain names – The deal comes after Identity Digital took over management of the .ai namespace. Domains were previously auctioned at Dynadot.
3. Liverpool FC loses cybersquatting domain dispute – Some might question this decision, too.
4. Blockchain and domains: hype vs. reality and what comes next – I wrote this post after attending D3’s Dominion conference. Later in the month I spoke with Unstoppable Domains’ CEO, who was quite candid about some things his company has tried that didn’t work as planned.
5. GoDaddy stock plummets after earnings report – The company didn’t hit earnings per share expectations, leading to a 14% cut to the market cap.
