15 companies that just bought domains on the domain name aftermarket

Tobacco company Reynolds, a hospice provider, and a roofing business bought domain names this week.

Sometimes, it’s difficult to find domains on Sedo’s weekly sales list that were acquired by end users. This week, however, it was easy. Many domains have public Whois records or have already been developed/forwarded the domain.

This week’s top public .com sale is an example of when a shorter domain isn’t always better. Enhabit uses the domain ehab.com. It’s a nice, short domain, but it doesn’t match the company name. So, it was wise to purchase Enhabit.com.

Enhabit .com $15,000 – This is a nice purchase for Enhabit, a home health and hospice company. It forwards the domain to ehab.com. Shorter isn’t always better.

CougarTech .com $14,888 – Tobacco company Reynolds American bought this domain for its Cougar tobacco snuff brand.

TwinX .com $7,900 – TwinX allows people to invest in high-yield products backed by insurance premiums.

HABRI .com $6,995 – Habri stands for The Human Animal Bond Institute. It promotes science related to the health benefits of having a pet. HABRI uses the matching .org domain.

Ai .hr $6,000 – A landing page says this will be the first Croatian AI platform.

AITO .tw $5,000 – Chongqing Sailis Overseas Electric Vehicle Co., Ltd. is a company that sells electric vehicles from China. AITO is a Chinese car brand.

ProjectEstimator .com $4,700 – STARK Building Materials UK Limited acquired this domain.

SeeIt .ai €4,000 – The domain is registered to an entrepreneur connected with the marketing firm FYCE.

FitForum .com $4,000 – This domain forwards to the Instagram page for a fitness forum based in Turkey.

ApexEast .com $3,499 – Apex East Roofing in South Jersey forwards this domain to apexeastroofing.com.

Snake .be €3,599 – This domain is used for an online game.

Dermia .com $3,500 – Dermia sells machines for dermatologists.

Flag-Shop .com $2,890 – The Flag Shop is a Canadian company that sells flags and custom banners.

GunBroker .ca $2,500 – Ammo Inc., a firearms company, bought this domain. It forwards it to the matching .com.

AIcademy .ch €2,000 – AI-Cademy educates about artificial intelligence.
