Here come the Black Friday deals, and they’re actually good.
Next week is Thanksgiving week in the United States, and that means Black Friday is almost here.
As always, domain name registrars are offering significant discounts, so now is an excellent time to come up with a list of domains to hand register.
I usually write a post aggregating some of the specials, but I just got word of deals at Name.com that warrant writing about them now. I can add other registrar’s deals to this post if they beat them.
First, Name.com is offering unlimited .com domain names for $4.99. That’s a great deal, especially without any bulk limits.
My headline was $4.49 .coms, and that’s where things get more interesting. Name.com is selling a .com+.pro bundle for only $4.49. In other words, if the second level domain you want is available in both domains, you’ll get them for less than just registering the .com.
Another standout deal is a .io + .tech bundle for only $9.99. Standalone .io registrations will be on sale for $19.99. Here again, finding a domain available in both extensions makes it cheaper than registering just the .io.
Name.com is owned by Identity Digital, which is the registry for .pro and .io.
The registrar is offering other discounts, but these are the ones that stand out the most to me.
The sale starts November 27 at 10 am MT and runs through December 2 at 11:59 pm MT.

You couldnt give me a .io — and you couldnt pay me to RENEW a Name.com domain.
Which is all this is really about about. CONSUMERS ARE NOT FALLING FOR THE GIMMICKS ANYMORE. The industry is bankrupt, and people are BROKE!!
Hello Andrew,
Are you sure about the no-limits .com deal? I reached out to Name.com for confirmation of this and here’s what they said:
“Name.com always has promotions, even if it’s not black Friday. However, there are usually limits for sales orders. As for now, we cannot guarantee that this purchases will not have limits as we are not yet done configuring sales on our end.”
So I am not sure if this offer will be “no limits”.
Hi there from the Name.com support team. We’re sorry for any confusion—there is no per-user limit for .coms. There is also no pre-determined overall limit at this time. If you have any other questions please chat with our Support Team and enjoy the upcoming deals!
Does name.com has “free whois privacy”?
How about bulk management tools? Can you search, register, change name servers etc in bulk like 100 or 200 domain in one go?
Also, is Name.com an Afternic fat-transfer partner?
Please advise.
Thanks.
