Monster has not responded to lawsuit.
A Federal District court in Washington State has issued a notice of default in a lawsuit against Rob Monster.
Domain investor Luigi Marruso sued Monster, Masterbucks, and the old Epik registrar entity in September, alleging that he is owed $1 million.
All three defendants were served on September 22 and 23, with responses required by October 14. None of the parties responded to the suit.
On October 23, Marruso asked the court (pdf) to make an entry of default and the court agreed.
Like many Epik customers, Marruso said he used Epik’s escrow service and Masterbucks payment system. Instead of keeping the funds separate, Epik used them to fund operations. When customers asked for their money back, there wasn’t enough money to pay all of the customers.

So will he pay,?
Will he go to jail?
What next?
“Instead of keeping the funds separate, Epik used them to fund operations.”
Yikes. that’s not good AT ALL.
Wow. Curious to see what happens.
Is this not Criminal Fraud ?
textbook. actually. lol
