Renew today before prices go up.
Today is the last day to renew domains in 216 top level domain names before prices increase.
On October 4 at 17:00 UTC, wholesale prices on 216 top level domains managed by Identity Digital will increase. Most of the increases are in the 10% range or so. Registrars typically pass these price increases on to registrants.
Identity Digital manages a variety of domains, including .digital, .life, and .media. Given how many domains are included in the price hike, it’s a safe bet that if you have Identity Digital domains in your portfolio, this increase will impact them.
You can expect first-year registration prices to remain heavily discounted for most domains. So, the real deadline is to renew any domains before tomorrow that you wish to keep. Domains can be renewed for up to 10 years at current prices.
In other price increase news, GoDaddy Registry informed registrars this month of price increases on 26 top level domains that will go into effect on April 1, 2025.
The increases are mostly $1-$2 per domain, although prices for .health and .law will increase by $5 per year.
The wholesale price of .co domains will increase from $24 to $26.

These registries have lost their f*** minds. Do they not realize that the industry is almost dead already from greed, and they are just finishing it off with these price increases? Wait until the results from next quarter come out, millions of domains are being dropped people will be shocked. Still the greed is never ending
I thought domain investors were also profit-oriented…
