Sedo’s top two public sales this week were .io domain names. A sports marketing company paid $50,000 for fan.io, and an unknown buyer plunked down €33,684 for med.io.

Fan.io $50,000 – Wincast says its “SaaS & AdTech software enables the world’s largest sports organizations, sponsors, and their partners to deploy interactive media experiences for fans, in real-time.” It forwards fan.io to wincast.io.
Capsum.com $5,000 – Capsum is a beauty products company. It forwards this domain to the matching .net.
Landable.com $5,000 – The buyer is creating a real estate website.
TheTransportationLawyers.com $4,999 – Scopelitis, Garvin, Light, Hanson & Feary, a law firm serving transportation companies, bought this domain name.
PublicHealthCommunication.com $4,888 – Public health policy group de Beaumont Foundation acquired this domain.
Chutes.org $3,499 – Chutes International sells chutes for construction sites. You might have noticed chutes on the site of buildings under construction; workers throw trash down them into waiting dumpsters or trucks. The company owns chutes.com.
Beus.de €3,000 – Johannes Beus, CEO and founder of software company Sistrix, bought this domain.
CheckIP.com €2,600 – The buyer forwards this domain to Whoer IP Lookup.
Mavy.de €2,500 – Mavy helps cities optimize parking space utilization.
PatokBet .com €2,000 – This is an online betting site.
