A cannabis-tracking firm, a curfew-beating service, and a business that sells communication radios bought domain names.
Sedo’s top public sale of the week, ThisAV/com for $99,000, was used as an adult NSFW site and still resolves to that site. It might have been a website purchase rather than a domain.
Here’s a list of end user domain name sales that just completed at Sedo. You can view previous lists like this here.
RadioSupply.com $6,000 – RadioSupply.com sells walkie-talkies and other communication radios.
Muttizettel.com $4,995 – This is an interesting one. This translates as “mom note” in German. If I understand it correctly, it’s a way to get an official note from parents to let minors stay out after official curfews.
Defiway .com $4,897 – Defiway says it’s a multi-currency digital wallet for cryptocurrencies.
Viya.io $2,799 – Tripco Pty Limited is a travel company in South Africa that operates several brands. Perhaps Viya is a new brand it’s getting ready to launch.
PavedRoad.com $2,700 – Resourcely is a cloud services security firm. Paved Roads is an IT security term. For now, the domain forwards to the company’s main website.
KnowYourProduct.com $2,523 – How well do you know your marijuana? Vigia AG uses this site for its Cannavigia product, which is a compliance tool for the cannabis business.
Csgo.org €2,500 – This appears to be the name of a famous video gamer.
OfficeFinder.de €2,460 – This domain currently forwards to FlatFinder, a digital real estate marketing service by HHVision. Whereas “flat” would target the residential market, “office” would target the commercial market.
WolfInvestment.com $2,499 – Wolf Investment and Development is a commercial real estate developer.
AlohaOrchid.com $2,499 – The buyer is creating a site about caring for orchids.
OttoAuto.com $2,277 – Otto is an insurance company. It forwards this domain to OttoInsurance.com.
Kadoa.com $2,200 – Kadoa is a data extraction tool.
