Here are some of the best domain deals.
The Black Friday/Cyber Monday domain deals have begun and some registrars are offering discounts on domain names.
It seems like there are fewer registrars promoting sales today than usual. I’m not sure how effective Black Friday discounts are for things like hosting; do people really wait until today to get a discount on a website they’re planning to launch?
But the sales are great for domain investors. There are good opportunities for investors to pick up some of their favorite keywords and combos in various extensions for first-year discounts.
In most cases, the discounts are available through at least the end of Monday, if not longer.
Namecheap
Namecheap has discounts on many domains including .com. You can register up to 5 .com domains for $5.98 each using the code BFCMTLD22. You can also transfer .com domains for $6.98 using code BFCMTR22, and there does not appear to be a limit for transfers.
Other notable discounts: $6.48 .net and .org (again, limit 5) and $7.98 transfers for the same domains (no stated limit).
Dynadot
Dynadot is offering .tv domain names for $3.99 for the first year. You’re probably not used to seeing first-year discounts on .tv domains. GoDaddy Registry took over management of .tv this month and plans to offer first-year promotions from time to time.
Dynadot is also offering lots of TLDs for under $2: .me, .biz, .art, .blog, .us, .cloud, and more. There are also discounts on backorders.
I don’t see any limits at Dynadot.
NameSilo
NameSilo’s .com deals aren’t great, but they do beat Dynadot on .tv domains: $3.49 for the first year. They also have a bunch of domains for under $2 including .eu.
Porkbun
Porkbun beat NameSilo by a penny on .tv at $3.48. It is also offering 50% of premiums from its sister company’s (Top Level Design) domains including .wiki, .ink, .tattoo and .gay.
IONOS
IONOS has just two domains on sale, but it’s notable because they’re just $1: .shop and .me.
You are welcome to mention other Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals in the comments as long as the prices/terms are better than what’s above and they’re for domains (not hosting and other services).
We’ve got .COM at $5.99 for the 1st year of registration at https://www.onlydomains.com/
Use the promo code ONLYCOM at checkout. Upto 10 domains/customer
are this code still work until now??
Yes, the code still works. It’s available until 31st Dec or until stocks last.
When do the promotion end?
How come they don’t have renewal rate of $5.99 so to entice people to keep their domains in their own registrar???
They assume people won’t move elsewhere because of the hassle.
…and if they renewed at that price every year, they’d lose money
