Turakhia’s latest started is now a unicorn.
Bhavin Turakhia’s latest business has raised a $250 million Series C investment from SoftBank Vision Fund 2, valuing the company at $1.45 billion.
Zeta is a banking technology company, offering a cloud-based technology stack to banks and FinTech companies.
Turakhia built his business and technology chops in the domain and hosting business. Along with his brother, Divyank, he started Directi and sold the business to Endurance (now Newfold Digital) for $160 million in 2014. He also founded Radix, the top level domain name company that operates .tech, .online, and eight other domains.
When Divyank sold his ad tech business Media.net for $900 million, the brothers became billionaires.
Zeta will use the funding round to scale its overall business and accelerate growth in the United States and Europe.
