Four letter .com sells for big bucks.
Shane Kinsch has cashed in again, this time selling the four letter domain name bico.com for $350,000.
The buyer is a client of Ports Group AB, a brand management company. Lots of companies go by the name Bico and there are a couple of U.S. trademarks for the term. Ports Group is based in Sweden and counts Spotify among its clients.
Some of Kinsch’s other recent sales include FTA.com for $400,000, Cumberland.com for $250,000, and Barri.com for over $100,000.
It goes to show the negotiating edge you have when you don’t have to sell.
The domain lands among the top 50 four letter .com domain sales of all time, and almost all of the other top 50 domains are English words.
