A movie studio, a sales automation platform, and a collections agency bought domain names.
Sedo’s blockbuster sale of Angel.com leads its end user sales list this week. The second-highest sale at Sedo this week was 1of1.com. I can’t figure out who bought it, but my guess would be an NFT art site.
Here’s a list of end user domain name sales that were just completed at Sedo. You can view previous lists like this here.
Angel.com $2,000,000 – As I wrote last week, a movie studio with a crowdfunding platform called Angel Studios bought this domain.
OverLoop.com $42,888 – Prospect.io, a sales automation platform, bought this domain. It could have acquired it a few years ago for a lot less.
ReLift.com $9,999 – Whois lists IT company The Jaekle Group as the registrant. It could be for a client.
Vinterdack.se €7,000 – A company called Quality Unlimited bought this domain for a tire site. Vinterdack is Swedish for “winter tires.”
Foodette.com €6,500 – Foodette sells take-home meals. It forwards this domain to its website at Foodette.fr.
Talogy.com $5,000 – PSI Services LLC bought this domain. A search shows the company at PSIonline.com, a professional testing services and talent assessment solution provider. Maybe a rebrand?
Fresh-Pass.com €4,800 – The French courier service Geopost SA bought this domain.
SlideJob.com $4,025 – Whois shows RDR Islands LLC is the buyer. It is a site for dirt track classifieds.
DASI.net $2,900 – Diversified Adjustment Service, Inc. is a collections agency.
NoMoreBlackouts.com $2,888 – OHM Connect bought this domain. This is an energy savings software company currently serving California residents. It pays participants for reduced energy usage during certain “peak times” called “OhmHours”. Clever domain.
JFL.it €2,500 – Forwards to JodalFashionLab.it, an Italian hair products brand.
HoltTruck.com $2,499 – Holt Cat bought this domain. It’s a Texas-based dealer of heavy Caterpillar equipment, engines, machines, and other construction and machinery equipment.
Ceretone.com $2,495 – Ceretone is a hearing aid company. It forwards this domain to its existing website at Ceretone.co.
Wellty.com $2,400 – Welty is a French online therapy community.
FiberLuxe.com $2,399 – Fairpoint Communications is a regional ISP and communications company that’s part of Consolidated Communications.
GregBrewer.com $2,177 – Jackson Enterprises bought this domain. I believe this is the company behind Jackson Family Wines, which acquired the Brewer-Clifton winery from Greg Brewer.
Thanks for the shout-out Andrew!
Congrats on the nice sale
