Dan.com inks deal with MediaOptions for domain brokerage

Partnership will allow Dan.com sellers to use MediaOptions’ brokerage service.

Domain name sales platform Dan.com has partnered with domain brokerage MediaOptions for brokerage services.

The deal will enable Dan.com users to hire MediaOptions to broker domain names. It will also allow users to assign inbound leads to MediaOptions. Users can automatically forward all leads over a certain threshold or assign leads individually. This sounds similar to how Uniregistry works; clients can assign leads to Uni’s brokers to handle on an individual or complete basis.

MediaOptions typically deals with higher-priced domain names, so this relationship will expand MediaOptions to handle a wider variety of transactions.

Any deal brokered from Dan.com clients that is closed by MediaOptions will be closed on Dan.com’s payments, escrow, and transfer platform.
