This domainer has success selling new TLDs.
Making profitable investments with new top level domain names has proven challenging for many investors. Registries held back their best inventory or priced it at a premium. Today’s guest, Madhu Oswin, made a great return on his new TLD investments. The sample size is small, but it shows that domainers who selectively choose their investments and negotiate well can make a profit on new TLDs.

Raising prices on the domains is very dirty. Sad to see the domains drop because registries go ‘oops, I undervalued these’…
Frank Schilling started this as far as I know. He broke ICANN contract, and domaining did nothing. Now he’s an ICA member. Good for you .com’rs. Protect your own interests. You’ll cry about ICANN and contracts, but your own members do exactly the same to ‘us’.
I don’t hold the industry in high regard, and I make no secret. You can’t even follow your own rules. You create your own private clubs like ICA – they very ones doing the screwing.
We just have to play the hand that is dealt. The domaining ‘industry’ (club com) is fighting us. Taking advantage of us while they have ‘industry support’. Cheering on the fraud as long as it’s .com benefiting. Shame. Shame that few of you understand that new top level domain mainstream adoption is inevitable, and you are working against it with fraudulent means.
When we needed you, domaining, you were silent. Instead, those that raise the prices, you PRAISE. It’s ‘cool’ for you.

I am not aware of Frank Schilling breaking any contracts with his registries. He is also not a member if ICA as far as I can tell.
