GoDaddy alleges that company stiffed it for over $1 million.
GoDaddy (NYSE: GDDY) has filed a breach of contract lawsuit (pdf) against Anexio Data Centers.
In the lawsuit, GoDaddy states that it pre-paid for services in Anexio’s Los Angeles data center. It alleges that Anexio was subsequently evicted from the L.A. data center and did not refund the money.
GoDaddy alleges that the two parties ultimately agreed to apply the outstanding amount to services Anexio was providing in a Virginia data center. When GoDaddy didn’t pay an invoice for the Virginia data center due to the applied funds, it alleges that Anexio sent a notice of default.
The hosting company has since vacated the Virginia data center and paid another company to keep its space in the L.A. data center.
GoDaddy argues in the court filing that Anexio owes it $1.1 million.
