Here are a few of the domains that caught my eye in this month’s auction.
Sedo’s next GreatDomains auction begins tomorrow and it has some good domains in it. The auction is not as heavy on three-character domains as usual but has some good one and two-word domains. Here are some that caught my attention:
FastFood.com – I honestly don’t know what I’d do with this domain. What caught my eye is the reserve of $25,000-$50,000. This domain has been offered for sale for years, most recently with a $500,000 starting offer.
Tranquilizer.com – This domain name has been sold twice according to NameBio. It sold for $4,100 at NamesCon in 2017 and then $10,000 at NamesCon in 2018. The reserve at Sedo is $10,000-$25,000.
BoysNames.com and GirlsNames.com – I’m not sure what the SEO competition is like on these types of naming sites these days, but these are nice domains. $1,000-$5,000 reserve on each.
GDO.com – This is a solid three-character domain for a reserve of €10,000-€25,000
Painkiller.com – This seems like a brand, not an exact-match opportunity. The reserve is $50,000-$100,000.
Repaid.com – Someday, this will make a great brand. It could be used by an employee expenses app, a payments platform, or a self-care business. I think the reserve of $25,000-$50,000 might be between a domain investor price and an end user price, though.

I guess they just got sick of holding fastfood.com, not the kind of name that sells easily (probably why there has been so many attempts to sell it). They may well get a deal with that pricing. It is in the 5 figures somewhere.
