Here are some observations.
- China accounts for 42% of the top 50 sites, confirming China as a very important market for domain investors.
- The best extension in China is .com (12 sites), followed by .cn (5). .tv (2), .net (1), and .hk (1).
- 2-pin names are very popular. 8 of the 21 Chinese domains use 2-pin names.
- Short is good. Most of the Chinese domains are less than 6 characters excluding the extension.
