Several tech companies, a simulation engineering firm and an online cosmetics retailer bought domain names.
Sedo’s top public domain name sale of the past week was Chauffage.fr at €62,500. Chauffage means “heater” in French so this was a big keyword domain sale that I assume involved an end user. But we can’t be sure yet, so I’ll leave it off the list and just mention it here.
That makes the top sale on the charts Cadfem.com.
Here’s a look at some of the domains end users bought at Sedo this past week. You can review previous end user sales lists here.
CADFEM.com $14,985 – I believe the buyer is The CADFEM Group, a simulation-based engineering firm that currently uses the domains CadfemGroup.com and Cadfem.net for its websites.
Workzilla.com €9,000 – An online personal assistant service focused on hiring and staffing of freelance workers for marketing tasks and roles.
Naturhaus.at €5,000 – An online retailer for natural products such as essential oils, soaps and other “all natural” products. Natur is German for “nature” and Haus means “house/home”. The domain forwards to the .com version of this second level domain.
BisonBet.com $4,888 – Delaware North purchased this domain name. It is a global food service and hospitality company headquartered in Buffalo, New York. The company also operates in the lodging, sporting, airport, gaming and entertainment industries. With the word “bet” in this domain, it could be for something within their gaming division.
PerfumesBaratos.com €4,659 – A Spanish online retailer for discounted perfumes and cosmetics.
Carbaglu.com $4,200 – The buyer’s email address is tied to Layer 7 Consulting, which is focused on providing information technology solutions to trading, brokerage, and other financial firms. This could be a purchase for a client.
Sydel.com $3,955 – Sydel is a consulting firm that offers custom solutions for managing business content by speeding up and automating manual processes. It uses the domain name SydelCorp.com.
SandSeaSun.com $3,488 – This was purchased by Data-Dynamix, Inc., a digital marketing agency out of Colorado. This is potentially for one of its clients.
CreaPlus.com €2,700 – Forwards to Creaplus.si, a technology firm that provides computer security consulting, implementation services, software development, distribution, marketing, and deployment of technology partner solutions.
DaveCummings.com $2,500 – Forwards to JoinExecuHome.com, a real estate agency in the Baltimore/Washington DC area. I wonder if this is one of its agents.
SanierungsProfis.com €2,380 – Forwards to SanierungsProfi24.de, a German renovations services provider. Sanierung means “renovation” and profi translates to “pro”. With this purchase, they now have both a .de and a .com for their business.
FlyingBlue.gr $2,250 – Flying Blue is the loyalty program of Air France and KLM airlines. This domain purchase extends its reach to the Mediterranean market as .GR is the ccTLD for Greece.
Pawn247.com $2,000 – Forwards to BuyMyGold.com, an online buying site operated by National Watch and Diamond out of Philadelphia. It buys and sells gold and silver jewelry, antiques, signed creations, diamonds, watches, coins, bullion, fine costume jewelry and other collectible items.
