Company is moving from NRSNG.com to Nursing.com next month.
This year Nursing.com sold for $950,000. The buyer made a huge upgrade: it is moving from NRSNG.com to Nursing.com.
NRSNG Nursing.com helps nurses succeed in nursing school. It provides online courses and helps them prepare for their standardized test.
The sale was reported in June, and making a domain name shift takes preparation. Jon Haws, founder of NRSNG, posted a video to Nursing.com explaining the shift to the new domain name that will take place next month.
You’ll note in his video that he’s had to pronounce his company name as if it was five words. N-R-S-N-G. What a difference it will be to just say Nursing.com! The company even made a cute video using hangman to show the difference.
Here’s the video about making the switch:

I remember when I started registering domain names I would not register any ending with ing.
Observer says
Can you elaborate on your reasoning?
There are over 8000 domains registered that start with Nursing*
Perfectname.com says
I started in 1995. I was picky. I would not register words that ended in “ed” either.
Ross says
In 1995, were there super premium adult and mainstream names that could be registered?
Steve says
Looks like a classic case of fake it until you make it!
