You no longer have to log in twice at GoDaddy Auctions.
GoDaddy has released a fix to the login issue on GoDaddy Auctions.
It’s more of a hack, really. But it helps.
Previously, when you clicked the “log in” button on GoDaddy Auctions, you entered your username and password, only to then be sent to the GoDaddy website where you had to enter the information again.
Now, when you click the log in button on GoDaddy Auctions, you’ll get a pop up in which you have to click a button that takes you to the GoDaddy login page. You will be returned to the auctions site after logging in on the GoDaddy site.
In other words, you now only have to enter your credentials once.
Paul Nicks, VP of Aftermarket at GoDaddy, explained the issue on the DNW Podcast that will be released on Monday. Essentially, the system is verifying GoDaddy Auctions membership before allowing you to log in.
Now, Shane Cultra will no longer have such a complicated experience logging in:

Paul Nicks says
Not a perfect solution but will hopefully keep folks from an unnecessary step.
Shane Cultra says
Great. But I will miss the exercise
Richard says
I had so much fun logging in. It was like a poor man’s 2FA..
John Colascione says
Great, I don’t even use it all that much and I knew something wasn’t working right logging in there. Hopefully they will get to fixing all the bugs in their re-seller stores.
JZ says
I thought it might of been a browser issue. I didn’t realize everyone was suffering with this for so long. I would just click the login button without entering info just to get the next login anyways.
Andrew Allemann says
Didn’t realize that worked
Ravi says
well its not a fix… surprising and (very) annoying to see this happen all the time…
still iit is a issue.
Mark Thorpe says
Years too late, but better than never.
