An updated guide on UDRP.
Domain name attorney Gerald Levine has published Domain Name Arbitration, Second Edition.
Levine published the first edition in 2015. That means thousands of additional UDRP cases have been decided in the interim that he was able to draw upon to update the book.
In the forward to the book, Levine notes that, in the second edition, “I have rewritten many of the sections; and where I have not added I have tweaked and refined my thoughts about the jurisprudence to make the principles, factors and concepts of the law more accessible.”
He has also included an expansive index.
The book is not light reading. It is designed for lawyers and intellectual property professionals to understand the nitty-gritty of UDRP. Many panelists would benefit from reading it, too.
Levine is perhaps the best writer on the topic of UDRP and anyone needing an in-depth understanding of UDRP should read it.
The book is available on Amazon.com.

Does anyone know if it mentions much about the choice of Court proceedings as opposed to continuing with UDRP ?. I would be interested to know if anyone has collated or keeps any records of UDRP decisions or proceedings subsequently taken to Court and the results of such Court cases ?.

Amazon states there are only 7 copies in stock. (I don’t know if that is a regional distribution number)
However, the chances of the book becoming a best seller is extremely low. It cost $ 119.
Andrew Allemann says
That means one sold today 🙂
It’s a reference book, not something for everyone. And $119 is a steal for an attorney.

One was mine. I felt you missed an opportunity for an affiliate link. 🙂
Andrew Allemann says
I typically avoid affiliate links. Wouldn’t want someone to think I’m covering something for the commission.

Should be a riveting read when it arrives. It’s a pity there’s no Kindle version or Audible version as read by Gerald. As a paperback it won’t look quite as attractive as it might if it were hard back, when placed on ones coffee table.

This is a tremendous work by Gerald Levine. I have my copy on my desk.

Absolutely necessary for practice in UDRP disputes. Always on my desk.
