Registrar adds 50% more domains in just ten months.
Domain name registrar NameSilo (CSE:URL) has hit another milestone with over three million domains under management.
As of this morning, a running ticker on its site showed 3,008,725 domains.
It took the registrar about ten months to grow from 2 million to 3 million domains, a quick clip showing that it’s taking market share from competitors.
The registrar is usually among the top ten for new .com registrations each month and is flirting with breaking into the top ten for total .com domains under management.
Of the three million domains, I estimate that about 2 million are .com domains. Another half million or so are new top level domains.

What I analyzed privately for several months is where some domain registrars get many domains (.com) expired many registrars sell the same ones at $ 199 to $ 499 to thousands expired domains (com) and I do the follow up of those that I Let expire and it really is a real business for registrars sellers and registrars buyers.
Happy Day. Jose.
Have any domains been stolen out of NameSilo accounts?
(I realize email hijacking is the most common method for stealing domains)
Do they have lock down capability for valuable domains?
Do they allow transfer out in less than 7 days due to domain being sold?
(usually by direct contact with registrar)
Do they have any fee charges if the domain is renewed the day it expires?
I know Netsol had a charge. It was pure profit for them.
I wonder if the increase in NameSilo domains are coming from Enom/Tucows?
For 15-20 yrs, Enom was one of the most popular registrar for domainers.
Not today !!!!
Side note – I miss the personal, outstanding customer service at Moniker when Monte owned and later ran the registrar. I have been out of Moniker for over 10 yrs.
I am facing one domain hijack. But i accept that it was my fault to not check the authority of link on which i am clicking and somehow they managed to stole my domain name.
Feeling sad.
