University and postal company terminate domains.
Bond University in Austrailia and Deutsche Post AG are dropping new top level domain names.
Both entities have informed ICANN that they wish to terminate their agreements to run a top level domain name. Bond University is terminating .bond and Deutsche Post AG is terminating .epost.
Bond University only applied for .bond. It activated a couple of second level domains under it; both law.bond and study.bond are set up to forward to pages on bond.edu.au.
Deutsche Post AG, a German postal service, originally applied for .epost, .deutschepost, .trust and .dhl. It withdrew its application for .deutschepost and sold .trust to what is now NCC Group. It retains .DHL and has set up a few sites including logistics.dhl.
And no one had the idea to sell them?
There are buyers…
🙂
I don’t think they want someone else to use .epost. .bond might have *some* potential.
