Why these three people chose new top level domain names.
How do people learn about new top level domain names? Why do they decide to register them rather than go with a .com? What are their experiences using the domains? On today’s show, we talk with three people who registered new TLDs: Kristi Kohut, an artist who uses KristiKohut.studio, Raluca Comanescu, who sells a planner at TheFeathers.ink, and Dave Rohrer, a digital marketer who uses BusinessOf.Digital for his podcast. Listen to their stories on today’s podcast.

Is anyone watching WorldCup Soccer? Noticed its FIFA.com not another TLD in which giving .com global exposure to millions of soccer fans, globally.. If your staying local, use a creative TLD to stay small and niche, if your going global, use the .com gets you access into USA, India, China and most of Europe.
Could just as easily be:
FederationInternationale.Futbol
or
FederationInternationale.Soccer
Sure it’s more letters, but instead of it being an acronym that most people in the world don’t know what it means, spelling it out is 10X more desirable:)
Andrew…thanks so much for producing this podcast. Your guests articulated well how they chose a new TLD, and their experience with it. I plan on using your podcast to help me sell the hundreds of new TLD’s I’ve purchased for all kinds of businesses serving all kinds of industries. I may owe you for this, and if it helps my sales, I’ll make a donation to your favorite charity….even it it’s you:)
The new gtlds are for small minded business men and women. Move along people, nothing to see here.
Too funny team player…thanks for bringing even more attention to the nTLD’s….you da man!
Thanks Andrew! Besides names.club, what are other sources for rent to but TLD’s or gtld’s?
A number of platforms now support lease-to-own deals, but Names.club is the only one I can think of that is purpose-built for payment plans.
Thanks Andrew. So I take that to mean there are no clear leaders in this role – especially for TLD’s.
