Service known for ccTLDs adds .ai domains.
Park.io has begun offering drop catching services for .AI domain names. .AI is the country code for Anguilla but has become popular for artificial intelligence companies.
Park.io is known for helping domain investors get popular country code domain names that are good for domain hacks or have taken on a meaning of their own, such as .io, .me and .ly.
The addition of .ai domains was made possible by the registry moving to EPP.
As with all domain names at Park.io, catch fees are $99 and include a year registration. If there’s more than one interested party there will be an auction.
One of the first featured .ai domains coming up is eat.ai.

Will be interesting to see what effect this has on the .AI market – wholesale and retail.
I imagine there will be a bulge in the hose from increased domainer speculation. But will retail prices (paid by end users) rise simply because more domains are in the hands of resellers who have themselves paid more in competitive auctions and who therefore set higher list prices?
Possibly end users will begin participating in the auctions themselves. People who work in AI tend to be more domain savvy than other categories of end user. If they’re not wedded to 1 particular brand name, then they may find Park.io themselves and outbid (or be outbid by) domainers.

Looks like park.Io no longer offers .ai . Just noticed .ai option is no longer there.

That’s because the registry is auctioning the domains off itself on a separate marketplace. Park.io powers that marketplace:
