Domain investor gets primetime interview on popular HBO show.
Domain name investor Page Howe was on HBO’s Vice News tonight talking about emoji domain names.
You can watch a preview of the interview here:
Howe made a name for himself after selling Seniors.com for $1.8 million and Guy.com for $1.0 million.
He believes in emoji domain names but also understands their drawbacks. I tend to see their drawbacks more than the opportunity in them, but I’m always willing to be proven wrong.
Either way, it’s good to see domain names get mainstream attention, especially when it’s not a negative story about cybersquatting.

He has a cart to push with these, maybe a win, maybe a loss. I am avoiding, cheers

First off, Congrats Page!
You were in a very vulnerable position letting the HBO Vice crew into your house and letting them tape you for hours. I would assume some people would think that what we do as domainers is crazy. You do this full time and I applaud you for that. This piece could have went either way. They could have slammed you and put a negative spin on your story somehow. You know, the classic story we hear about when a journalist acts like they are gonna write something good and then it turns out to be a bash piece. Very ballsy of you!
I do agree with you Andrew. It is very nice to see any media related to domaining in a positive light. That is for sure.
A positive domaining story on some pretty cool, new, exciting domains…
Very cool!

Congratulations Page! I love Vice and I’m sure they did a great job with the story. We’ll be watching this for sure.

Worst investment ever unless the Chinese or someone like that starts picking them up.

Page is triple cool. Good to see domains in the media more and always good to see Page talking about them.

As Page we believe in Emoji communication too!
Emoji should not only be in the domain only but in other part of the URL.
It allows for everyone to access the full set of emoji for each domain name. Is simple and fast to do.
Unfortunately URLs on Emoji are not compatible with every online website (eg.. Twitter) yet.
Check this out, we explain how to add emoji/emotions on your links:
