Everyone who has ever met Chad knows that he is a visionary way ahead of the times. His ideas are usually 10-15 years into the future.
The contrib model has a lot of moving parts, but the idea behind it is simple and powerful. Contribute your time and skills in exchange for equity.
We’re slowly starting to see a shift in certain labor classes moving away from traditional 9-5 jobs into on-demand jobs (Uber, Task Rabbit, Amazon Delivery, etc). It’s all about convenience. Over the next decade on-demand jobs will start to creep into many fields including professional services such as design, programming, content writing, etc. I think contrib will be in a good position to that into that in the coming years.
