A big week of end user domain name sales.
Sedo had a very solid week of end user domain name sales. I spotted 22, and there are no doubt more that are still in escrow or have Whois privacy.
As always, a lot of the purchases were made by companies that own ccTLDs buying the equivalent .com domain as well as companies with long domains buying shorter versions.
.AI made the list again, and there was a new TLD sale to an end user this past week as well.
Here’s the list of end user sales I uncovered:
(You can view previous lists like this here.)
Noovle.com $16,000 – Italian web services company Noovle bought this domain to go with its existing Noovle.it domain.
Noids.com €15,000 – Chris Stamper is one of the Stamper Brothers, who are video game developers. This sounds like a game name to me.
BetKings.com $15,000 – iNetSquared Ltd in the United Kingdom develops web properties. I imagine this will be a betting portal.
PowerGenius.com $14,000 – What a great domain name for power company NRG Energy, Inc.
IndigoLife.com $7,100 – Indigo is a book retailer in Canada. They don’t own Indigo.life, which is used by a video marketing company.
Vivaz.com $6,250 – a CSC client bought this domain name. Sony Mobile Communications AB has a tradememark for Vivaz, and Sony is a CSC client.
Ametos.com $6,000 – Ametos is a security company that uses the domain name AmetosGroup.com.
TalkApp.com $5,500 – Screenovate Technologies Ltd develops screen duplication technology. It actually sounds very useful.
McSport.com €4,900 – McSport is an Irish sports equipment company that uses the domain name McSport.ie.
Aero.it €4,500 – Aviation Media & IT GmbH is an aviation consulting/app development company in Germany.
Mail.group $4,000 – Mail.cz Group, a.s. in Czech Republic
DermaMinerals.com €3,900 – This is an interesting one. The registrant is Dermaquest Inc. The Registrant email is for Allure Labs, which is a white label skincare products company. I hadn’t thought about this as a business, but it makes a lot of sense.
Test.ai $3,800 – Mobile app testing company Appdiff.
Twice.net $3,599 – ThredUP is a second hand clothing company. Perhaps it is going to rebrand as Twice, which would make sense for a store that sells second hand clothing.
RebootCamp.com $3,500 – Sightline Media Group is a media company with publications about military, defense, public sector, federal technology, C4ISR and cyber defense.
BeautyHaul.com $3,499 – Beauty supplies company Beauty Haul Indo uses the domain name BeautyHaulIndo.net.
Mar-Go.com $3,490 – The buyer’s name is MARjan GOzal.
B-Eye.com $2,800 – B EYE is a business intelligence applications developer that uses the domain name B-EYE.eu.
BlueCyber.com $2,700 – BlueMAC Analytics provides travel time, speed and origin destination data for transportation agencies.
NaviLoan.com $2,500 – Navient Solutions, LLC is a student loan company.
Picnic.cc $2,500 – Picnic International BV.
PromoTeam.it €2,213 – PROMO TEAM Srl is an Italian maker of promotional products (such as custom t-shirts) that uses the domain name PromoTeam.biz.
I really love Noovle! Great brand!
