Company reveals top (public) sales this year through its distribution network.
Domain name marketplace Sedo offers a system called SedoMLS that syndicates domain name listings to partners including domain name registrars. This puts your domain names in front of buyers when they are looking for domains at the registrars.
Sedo has revealed the top 10 (public) sales through its SedoMLS system so far this year as of May 31:
black-jack.com €40,000
momschoice.com $31,500
vice.org $15,000
hosting.biz $14,975
codereview.com $13,499
robo.io $12,500
agripoint.com $11,000
estoybien.com $10,000
co-pilot.com $10,000
myiv.com €10,000
SedoMLS sales include both negotiated purchases and “buy now” transactions, with about half of the above transactions being fix price buy now transactions.
Not included in this list is a $200,000 buy now sale through SedoMLS. Savvy DNW readers believe the $200,000 sale was Naranja.com, sold by Frank Schilling.
Piss poor results! That does not look like a success story for Sedo or the industry overall. IMHO
To be fair, those domains are pretty terrible. The sellers should be pleased.
Nothing wrong with a 10k plus sale here and there 🙂
