16 end user domain name sales from the past week.
The big-name buyer on this week’s end user list is Hewlett-Packard Enterprise (NYSE: HPE), aka HP Enterprise, a $30 billion market cap technology company. It bought a solid gerund for $12,500.
That wasn’t the biggest end user sale on Sedo’s list, however. The company had some very solid end user sales.
Here’s the list of end user sales I uncovered:

Susen.com $36,000 – The buyer is with Canada China Educational, Scientific & Cultural Association, but the domain name lists a registrant of SUSEN.
FoodBarn.com €17,500 – German media company Axel-Springer-Strasse. The company filed for a trademark earlier this year and also acquired the domain name FoodBarn.de.

HealthLab.com $7,500 – HealthLab is a new company that claims it’s a research automation company that will allow you to “Transform Your Data to Medical Publications in Minutes.”

Interesting that Oil-Club.com was bought instead of Oil.club which right now is available for a one time $5k+ price. I guess even a hyphenated dot com is preferred over a GTLD for some.
Joseph Peterson says
The same thing surprised me. Personally I much prefer .CLUB.

Accelerating is not a gerund (a noun ending in -ing). It is simply a verb.
Cooking is a gerund — “Her cooking always tastes great.”
The noun version of accelerating is…. acceleration.

I’m not sure when this happened, but HP bought our local newspaper’s domain, HPE.com, for their HP Enterprise. Our local newspaper is the High Point Enterprise and they had been on HPE.com since the 1990’s.
Would like to know what HP paid the local paper for HPE.com.
Andrew Allemann says
I think they bought it just before HP split into two companies.
