Allegedly stolen domain name end up at eName.
Ching Ping Cheung says he registered the domain name in 2003. He alleges it was stolen from his account at GoDaddy in January and transferred to Chinese domain name registrar eName.
Mr. Cheung filed the in rem case against the domain name under provisions of the Anticybersquatting Consumer Protection Act. The case was filed in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, where .com registry Verisign is located.
He is represented by David Weslow of Wiley Rein, who has filed many such domain theft lawsuits.
