I agree with Gary, Another great interview.
I always look forward to your podcasts every Monday.
I still would like to see you do more Sherpa shows, i think you would be a great asset to the show.

As to minimums. Currently the platform will reveal that number as the buyer punches in figures. That then becomes the number to offer and stay firm at from the buyer. Please overcome that by letting them in when they breach four, five, six etc number fields being met, as the minimum is a default setting across the entire folio and only reviewed/adjusted when a lead comes in.

BINs @ %15 is hefty for an automated pass through transaction. What value does a broker add if they are almost identical commission rates. Either is undervalued or overpriced.

Very informative. Regards from *Bulgaria*.

Jeff Gabriel just provided a great script telling buyers why they should stick with .COM domains. 🙂
Garth says
This message going out on ccTLD listings is bizarre. “The dot COM is a more powerful name and would help your company have a more global feel and eliminate any issues with your own customers finding you.”
Andrew Allemann says
Garth, what are you referring to?
Garth says
Brokers messaging buyers.

I gotta say, The thought of a mattress company as the buyer for comatose.com made me lol! better name for a street drug or cocktail or rock bar or a cultural movement (check out thrive the movement) and associated book title. I’m sure you’ve thought of them all. I’ve paused the audio and will give a guess at the value – and here is my reasoning (im no expert but feeling spunky today). I spelled it right in this message – without autocorrect. Boom! i know what it means Boom! I will remember it Boom! it makes me feel a certain way Boom! It is not a valuable name of something like gold.com notboom! 30k would be my idea for the value / sales price of this name. Im not even sure if you guys are talking about pricing it but I wanted to put this out there. (4 booms minus 1 not boom = 30k at 10k per boom!) if you were curious – Like a working running 4×4 pickup truck, they are mostly all worth 1000. I think all domains worth buying ( .com, one word, or two, or common phrase) are worth 10k for starters – why would you want to own a name worth less than that? Boom! back to the show – very informative (Yes, first time listener).

Thanks for your thoughts and for listening.

Great podcast! I was looking for a company/domainbroker a while ago to sell a top domainname i own, I ended up with a lot of time waisted – and now understand that part of that was my own fault for not digging into back-information deeper beforehand.
