KSregistry and Open Registry are now one.
Domain name company KeyDrive has acquired backend registry provider Open Registry, the company announced today. NCC Group previously announced the sale.
KeyDrive is the holding company that owns Key-Systems and Moniker. Part of its business is KSregistry GmbH, which provides backend registry services to a number of .brand domains (e.g. .bmw, .mini, .spiegel) and other TLDs (.saarland, .desi and .cam).
Open Registry provides registry services for .frl, .co.nl und .sx, among others.
KeyDrive says that the two registry platforms combined are the European leader for .brand top level domain names.
