You need to take this added step.
I’ve added a lot of domains I won in expired auctions to Uniregistry over the past few months. I added the names and changed the nameservers. Done, right? Wrong.
It turns out that adding domains to Uniregistry Market, even when you select the PPC lander, does not automatically add the “for sale” banner to the top of the page. Without this banner, visitors to the domain name have no way to submit an offer.
In order for this banner to be displayed, you have to add it after you submit your domains. There’s no default option to add this banner.
You can do it in bulk by selecting multiple domains and using the bulk tool.
This adds more steps to the process, so I hope Uniregistry makes this a default option in the future.
But I see all my domains default have sales banner showing.
That’s interesting. I asked Uniregistry support and they said it wasn’t possible to set this as a default.
Strange really!
I never change that setting and checked randomly several old and recently added parked domains with Uniregistry and they all show banner on top.
By the way, I add all my domains through DomainNameSales.com account. Not sure if it makes any difference to the settings…
That probably would make a difference.
Most probably. As I have *never* added domain through Uniregistry Market and always been adding through DomainNameSales.com only.
Try adding yourself a new domain through DNS platform and see what happens and update us.
Previously when I added through DNS the banner was there.
Andrew until last month I manually would go domain by domain after adding a name and select for sale lander, replacing parked page and clicking save. I noticed the default setting was PPC page WITH banner already set. I only recently discovered the default setting page and set them all the for sale lander only ( I am not concerned with parking/tm issues). Now in saying that not sure why under default setting it will not allow you to have a PPC and banner default? Gosh I didnt even want that and had it automatically.
Josh,
Apparently, you are using DNS as your primary sales platform.
Do you also load the domains into S and A?
If so, do they sell some domains for you?
Or, do you entirely rely on a DNS sales page to close the deal?
I am finding S and A are becoming less important to me. My best sales are direct inquiries.
i also recently was aware of this accidentally. i guess they have to make an explanation. changing my name servers means i want to sell it what can it be other than this.
i would be thinking that they did this intentionally for a reason, maybe increasing parking revenue??
