Second lot of domains has fewer standout sales but is still impressive.
I’ll admit to being a bit surprised when c.at sold for €56,000 in an auction on Sedo this month. .AT is the country code domain for Austria.
Now the second batch of .at domain names has been auctioned, with the top ten sales raking in close to €80,000. Here are the top ten sales:
6.at 11,001 €
i.at 10,100 €
jt.at 10,000 €
5.at 9,200 €
me.at 7,505 €
ö.at 7,400 €
qr.at 6,600 €
if.at 6,100 €
4.at 5,900 €
l.at 5,436 €
I’ll be very curious to see how many of these domains were bought by people in Austria. Sedo says that investors from many countries are participating, but some of the prices paid surprise me if the owners don’t have plans to put them to use.
The third and final auction of .AT domain names ends November 28.
