Churley has domain registrar and registry experience.
Domain name company CentralNic today announced that it has hired Andy Churley as Group Marketing Director. Churley will oversee marketing across all of CentralNic’s companies, which include retail registrars and backend registry services.
Churley was most recently Chief Marketing Officer at NameShield, a brand protection domain name registrar. Before that, he was Chief Marketing Officer at new top level domain name company Famous Four Media.
CentralNic (London AIM: CNIC) owns retail registrars Internet.bs and Instra. Instra is a popular registrar for brand protection customers because it carries many ccTLDs. CentralNic is also the backend registry provider for top level domains such as .XYZ and Radix’s portfolio of names. Additionally, CentralNic company sells somewhat controversial third level domains, such as name.uk.com.
