Wheel seller, pipe fittings company and BASF bought domain names last week.
Sedo didn’t publicly report any blockbuster domain name sales from last week, but there were some good end user purchases.
Among the buyers is BASF, the $65 billion company (market cap) that you probably know for the slogan “”We don’t make a lot of the products you buy. We make a lot of the products you buy better.” The company bought the name for its new foam insulation product for only $2,500.
Here are some end user domain name purchases from the past week:
TVG.co.uk £3,500 – The Vehicle Group Ltd sells fleet technology and uses the domain name TheVehicleGroup.com.
Betting.co.ke $2,750 – BayBets Limited in Malta. .Ke is the country code for Kenya.
SmartWoman.de €2,000 – Weka Media Publishing in Germany has a publication called SmartWoman.
Planeo.co.uk $2,000 – F & P GmbH is a flooring company that uses the domain name Planeo.de.

Cavipor.com $2,500 – You might know BASF by its slogan “We don’t make a lot of the products you buy. We make a lot of the products you buy better.” Earlier this year it applied for a trademark for Cavipor for a building foam insulation.
Joppich.com $2,400 – Joppich Inc is an intellectual property consultancy. This is a huge upgrade over its previous domain name Joppich-IPC.com.
U-run.com $3,750 – I-Run.fr sells running shoes and accessories. Perhaps there was confusion or it plans to rebrand.
