Here are some domain names that were purchased by end users on Sedo over the past week.
It was a lot harder this week to find end user domain name sales within Sedo’s sales list this week. The list was shorter than usual, but the bigger issue was that many of the top domain names are still in escrow. I can’t tell who the buyer is until the whois is revealed or the nameservers point to a new site.
Take the sale of Greenvita.com at €10,000. This is clearly someone who is going to use it as a brand and it might even by the nutritional company that has a product by this name. But it’s still in escrow.
I have a handful of sales to share with you despite these challenges. And don’t forget that Sedo’s monthly GreatDomains auction ends tomorrow.
Here are some end user domain name purchases from the past week:
(You can view previous lists like this here. If you’d like to learn how to sell your domain names like these on Sedo, download this report.)
SalesManagementSoftware.com $12,377 – Software company TriStar. I don’t see anything on its website that suggests it sells sales software, so perhaps this is an expansion for the Phoenix company. Even more bizarre is the next purchase…
YourHealthMagazine.com $2,500 – is the company’s IT manager buying domains for himself? Seems like an odd one.
CyroFuel.com $2,600 – Here’s another one where the WHOIS information might be misleading. Although the email is the whois is for Sprinklr, I believe this is an employee buying a domain name for himself.
Doolim.com $4,000 – The buyer used the registrant name Doolim in whois. I can’t find anything about this Chinese company.
Moxleys.com $2,495 – Moxley Welding and Machine Service, Inc., which uses the domain name MoxleysInc.com.
Ascensia.net €3,900 – Ascensia Diabetes Care Holdings AG currently uses the .com version of this domain.
Shoplite.com $8,000 – Shoplite appears to be a new site that sells products on installment plans.
AJPE.com $3,499 – American Journal Publication Excellence provides journalism and writing services.
SoftwareLab.de €2,100 – Indeca is a German software development firm.

I always check to see what has been registered lately to see who it may be. GreenVita.net was just registered in March. Owned by SB Hotels in Spain who have some type of We Are Green campaign. I can almost guarantee they are the buyers.

Nice catch. Hopefully we’ll find out soon.

SalesManagement.software is still unregistered at $8,400 annually.

Gee…which one is a better value?

Normally most of y’all would be saying “SalesManagementSoftware.com” is worthless or close because it’s not “Software.com” and is longer than a stretch limo, yes?
Andrew Allemann says
That’s a fair point
