Each now own 2.1% of company.
.XYZ founder Daniel Negari and his COO Mike Ambrose have sold 173,000 shares of Rightside (NASDAQ:NAME) stock worth about $2 million this month as of yesterday, according to an SEC filing.
Negari sold 109,794 shares and now owns 402,091. Ambrose sold 63,285 shares and now owns 405,872.
Both appear to have turned a profit on the shares they’ve sold so far. Negari paid an average of $8.80 for his shares and Ambrose paid $8.68. Their average sale price this month has been just under $12.00 per share.
Negari and Ambrose each own 2.1% of Rightside’s outstanding shares now. Because their combined total is less than 5%, they will no longer have to report their sales and ownership interest in a public SEC document.
Hello Andrew,
This comes as an expected event for us. We have seen this pump and dump of assets many times. We smell a pull out of many New TLD advocates support for All New TLDs. Its an economic Certainty waiting to happen. JAS 8/12/16

Time to short the new gTLD stocks before the renewal cycles hit.
pump and dump tactics at extension level .. lol 🙂 I pity those investors who put their money on .xyz . Even god cant save their investments.
If there was any long term value in .xyz, the owners wouldn’t be pumping and dumping; they would hold. This is not encouraging to domainers or investors. Be wise, pull out of gTLDs just like Negari and Ambrose are doing.
Watch, Negari and Ambrose will deplete all of their shares by the end of 2016.
Truth be told, when the global recession hits around November 2016, most of these pigeon shit extensions are going to go bankrupt and many are going to lose their asses.
…stay tuned
What will Frank Schilling do; buy, hold, or dump?
I believe Schilling owns more of Rightside shares than Negari and Ambrose. Domainers should pay close attention to Rightside for the rest of the year, this might be the canary in the coal mine skeptics of the gTLDs have been warning the rest of the domain community about…
Somewhere Rick Schwartz is smirking like a Cheshire cat.
Or maybe Negari and Ambrose felt like a nearly 50% gain made it time to take some money off the table…or maybe they plan to invest the money to buy another TLD…
Great point. Duly noted…we shall see.
Not having to report, reinvesting profits, Makes sense to me 😉
So far rightside has done a pretty good job playin the game
Because their combined total is less than 5%, they will no longer have to report their sales and ownership interest in a public SEC document.
Daniel or Frank, I’d like to follow either one of you around for about a year.
