Uniregistry gains, Fabulous loses.
ICANN has published the latest .com transactions report from registry Verisign, showing official results from April.
While China still plays a role in the leaderboards, it is much less now than it has been over the past 6 or so months.
Here are the top 5 registrars in April in terms of new .com registrations:
1. GoDaddy* 901,566
2. eNom** 208,158
3. HiChina 167,816
4. Tucows 120,997
4. PublicDomainRegistry 104,167
Here are the top five registrars for net inbound transfers:
1. Uniregistry +22,737
2. Mesh Digital +14,226
3. Google +7,815
3. eName +7,601
4. Key Systems +6,341
On the flip side, these five registrars saw the biggest net outflow of .com domain names due to transfers:
1. Fabulous -18,812
2. Tucows -17,973
3. Network Solutions -10,256
4. CSC -9,636
5. Melbourne IT -6,890
*Includes GoDaddy and Wild West Domains **Includes eNom and Name.com, but not dropcatching registrars.

Godaddy wins the race on domain registration because it is very heavily advertised on all media’s and they are good also. I don’t see namecheap or name.com in the list. Seems they are losing on winners list.
Name.com is under eNom. NameCheap’s domains are mostly registered under eNom as well.
Hello Andrei,
Go-Daddy by far is the best choice for Professional Marketing Strategists. Uniregistry Not so much.
