GoDaddy posts 15.6% revenue growth

Company’s revenues, including for its domains segment, jump.

GoDaddyGoDaddy (NYSE:GDDY) released earnings this afternoon after the close of the market.

Q2 revenue was $456.2 million, up 15.6% year-over-year. The company closed the quarter with 14.3 million customers, up 7.9% year-over-year.

Domain revenue was $229.8 million, up 10.2% year-over-year. It’s also a nice bump over Q1’s $218.9 million revenue from domains. The quarter-over-quarter domains growth is a welcome sign since its Q1 2016 revenue barely grew from Q4 2015. It’s possible that selling domains from its portfolio helped move the needle.

The company posted a net loss of $11.1 million and an adjusted EBITDA of $103.5 million. GoDaddy is upping the mid and upper points of its full year revenue and adjusted EBITDA guidance.
