Company predicts strong upswing in registry revenue.
Rightside’s revenue from new TLDs might be trivial to its business right now, but the company expects big things in the future.
Last year, Rightside generated registry revenue of $8.4 million.
This year, the company expects to generate $12-$15 million of registry revenue.
In the FY 2019-FY 2021 timeframe, the company expects $50-$75 million annually with an EBITDA margin for the company of 20%.
I suspect investors will be happy if the company hits these numbers.
On yesterday’s investor conference call, Rightside CEO Taryn Naidu said that Q1 was its best cash revenue quarter for new TLDs so far, when taking out spikes from previous launches.
In an investor presentation, the company also revealed cash revenue numbers for some of its top level domains, as of May 5:
.News $1.86M
.Rocks $1.04M
.Live $0.81M
.Ninja $1.59M
.Lawyer + .Attorney $2.40M
