Uniregistry continues to win transfers from other domain name registrars.
ICANN has published the latest .com transactions report from registry Verisign, showing official results from January.
Uniregistry won the transfer game with the most net inbound transfers.
On the new registrations side, GoDaddy saw a seasonal jump in January, reporting a solid number of new registrations.
On its last investor call, Verisign said that China accounted for a net 1 million more .com/.net domains than anticipated in the first quarter. You can see part of that in January’s reports.

Uniregistry is awesome.
Frank has been able to bring a more seasoned perspective to domain name registration & management plus the market integration is very nice as well. Uniregistry, in my opinion, has created a better interface. The customer service and pricing are good.
I believe in giving credit where is due and have been migrating my portfolio to Uni over the last year for these reasons. No regrets. It might sound cliche, but a company that does good honest business deserves customer loyalty and the success that follows. .
It’s time for Uniregistry to add an Express Release feature for Domain Transfers, as GoDaddy and many other Registrars have.
That is an absolute MUST for a would-be first class Registrar, waiting 24 or 48h for a transfer annoys a lot of buyers, and it’s a very simple feature to integrate.
