Company shifts registrar landing pages to .google domain name.
Google has begun using a domain name under its .brand top level domain name, .google, for its domain name registrar.
The company announced today that you can find its registrar at domains.google.
Its original domains for the service, domains.google.com and google.com/domains, now forward to domains.google. However, once you log in, the domain name reverts to domains.google.com.
I spotted that Google registered domains.google back in October, and speculated it would shift its registrar page to the new domain.
New top level domain name advocates hope that big companies start using their .brand domain names to give new domain endings more exposure. This is just one example.
Yep…but Google Domains is still not available in other countries, it still says: “We’re sorry. You appear to be in a country where Google Domains is not yet available. You may search for domains, but you will not be able to purchase a domain unless you have a U.S. billing address”.
They have so many options Google.Domains G.Domains etc…
I hope will be available soon in Spain, Do you think domains registered with Google will rank better than others?
David I also want to get a google domain name in Spain. Please let me know if you have any information! Por favor, dime algo cuando lo sepas, gracias! Claire
