You might want to buy these domain names this week
I missed last week’s “What Domains to Buy This Week” post because I was busy with SXSW.
I’m getting lots of good feedback on these posts, so I’ll keep doing them despite the amount of work it takes.
I’m making a couple changes for this latest post. First, I am being compensated for some of the listings here, either on a paid-placement or affiliate basis. As such, these terms apply to this post. Second, I’m adding a few names that I either own or am helping sell.
As always, please check trademarks before bidding on any domain, and there are not guarantees you will make money buying these domains.
Off Market
- ExecutiveRecruiting.com/.net/.org – these domains were registered by an executive recruiter in Austin in the 90s, and have never been offered for sale before. Contact andrew (at) domainnamewire.com if interested. Brokers should not contact the owner directly. High five figure/low six figure expectation.
- Comptroller.com – $9,500 – 1998 registration. Contact andrew (at) domainnamewire.com.
- BulkOrder.com – $2,500 – Contact andrew (at) domainnamewire.com.
NameJet
- StudentGovernment.com – I can’t comprehend why this domain doesn’t have any backorders with less than a day to go.
- RXMagazine.com – Perfect domain for a pharmaceuticals industry publication.
- MarineTransportation.com – Look it up – this is a profession and a degree at a number of universities.
- MakeMeYounger.com – Three words but an enriching business.
- iEmployees.com – A good ‘i’ domain for an HR or job hunting app.
- MobileLawyer.com – This has a reserve of $500-$1000 but I think it’s worth it. Not only can it be sold to a lawyer in Mobile, Alabama, but it can also be for a lawyer that handles mobile phone claims or that comes to you.
- CommunityToolbox.com – A bit long but a good technology domain for municipal services.
- StrategicOutlook.com – This has analyst firm written all over it.
- CasinoTraffic.com – Online gambling has its ups and downs, but this is a solid domain.
- YourProfessor.com – Great for an online education site.
- SecretSafe.com – Security? Online contest or game?
SnapNames
- LondonCreative.com – 16-year-old domain name is good for a creative firm in…well, London.
- SocialSecrets.com – I’m thinking social media tips for this one.
- MyIceland.com – Great travel or government services domain.
- CodeGirls.com – Learning to code is big. Teaching kids to code is bigger. Teaching girls to code is biggest.
- Geekables.com – Nice brand for a gadget site.
Sedo
- eCareers.com – This domain was pushed to auction with a $2,500 bid. It seems to get a bit of traffic.
- Cun.com – Despite the “U”, this domain might be popular with the Chinese because it is a traditional Chinese unit of length. Also the airport code for Cancun.
GoDaddy
- CameraReady.com – A common term in the print business. Just make sure to not use it for cosmetics or you might run into trademark issues.
- CardboardBox.com – Either a brandable or a shipping supplies site.
- TopEnd.com – Both a geo and a short domain with a positive connotation.
- FilmGeeks.com – Good name for a film review or industry site.
- MeetingMasters.com – Event planners, conference organizers, etc.
- IntegrityAuctions.com – If only they all had integrity.
- CubanRentals.com – This domain suddenly has appeal to the U.S. market.
- RentStop.com – A solid name for an apartment rental or furniture rental site.

Thanks for the post.. Andrew.
Wondering how do you check whether a domain is backordered.?
forgive my ignorance and appreciate your response. Thanks again
Andrew Allemann says
All of these services allow more than one backorder. They will usually show how many backorders have been placed.
